About this event:
From Friday, July 12 to Saturday, July 13 there will be a very special charity Cider Festival at the Charlton Inn in Shepton Mallet. Called Tom’s Cider Festival, the event is being organised by Deborah Coward in memory of her son, Thomas Goss, who died last year following a sudden infection.
Tom’s favourite tipple was cider, which gave Deborah the idea for the festival, which is being held as a fundraiser for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and The Somerset Wildlife Trust.
There’s live music planned for the whole of the festival, as well as Raffles, an Auction and coverage from Radio Shepton, too.
Tickets cost just £10 per day, which includes a glass, wristband and free glass of cider, and are available from the Charlton Inn, Shepton Mallet Tourist Information and The Hive.
